Guitar repair is the perfect combination of my two life passions; guitar and woodworking. After completing a bachelor's in Jazz Guitar a lack of funds necessitated building all my own guitar pedals and fixing all my own guitars.

After building my first Telecaster in 2017 I was really hooked. Since then I have built several more guitars and continued to grow in guitar repair and maintenance.

I have seen every budget of guitar benefit from some love and attention and can guarantee to give my best to you and your guitar.

a passion for THE DETAILS

Over 40 years ago, as a teenage kid I picked up a guitar after getting hooked on The Beatles. I immediately fell in love with the instrument. Shortly after, I began modifying my inexpensive guitars to make them play and sound more like instruments I couldn't afford. Since then, life got in the way and having a knack for using my hands, I spent a career in woodworking and carpentry. All the while, playing in bands, tweaking guitars for myself and friends, as well as being a bonifide tone junkie (I even owned and operated a recording studio in the 80's). I've since retired from carpentry and have taken my passion for guitar repair into the next 40 years.

Whether you're coming in for a routine setup, a custom modification or complex repair, I'm grateful for the opportunity to get your instrument playing in a way that inspires you.
